National Convention on the EU: Recommendations to the Government in English
The National Convention on the EU brings together representatives of the Government, state administration, both chambers of the Parliament of the Czech Republic and the European institutions, social partners, business, the academia, NGOs, and other relevant stakeholders. Being a national debate on European issues, the Convention’s working language is Czech. However, the below attached English versions of recommendations to the Government allow our international partners and audience to acquaint themselves with roundtables’ discussion covering a wide range of topics related to the EU agenda. These roundtables are convened regularly every month.
In 2016, we were honoured to welcome the European Commissioner for the Euro and Social Dialogue Valdis Dombrovskis as well as the Commissioner for Employment, Social Affairs, Skills and Labour Mobility Marianne Thyssen to the Convention’s debate. In addition, the Czech Minister of Labour and Social Affairs Michaela Marksova attended the roundtable on social dimension of the European Integration.
